Mange is a very nasty disease and is usually found in dogs but, on occasion, it has also been found in humans and other animals. In humans, it is called Demodicosis and often looks like rosacea. Several years ago, my sweet Schnauzer was hit by a car. Thankfully, she survived but her hip was badly broken. Although she never seemed to return to her full use, she made it through the healing process and has done fairly well. In comparison to her quality of lifestyle before the accident, it is apparent that it has drastically changed through her slow moves.
